Maryland to Host 2010 Electrology Convention
Electrologists from all over the world gather outside our nation’s capital this October.
Sep 15, 2010

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD. – On October 8-10, 2010, the Gaylord National Hotel hosts the American Electrology Association (AEA) Annual Convention and Exhibitor’s Showcase. The AEA Convention is the largest annual gathering of electrology professionals from all over the USA, Europe and Asia.

This year, the convention focuses on helping electrologists improve client service by improving themselves and their practices. Attendees hear expert speakers discuss a wide range of improvement topics including safe work practices, client education, hormonal factors, stress management techniques, lighting and magnification, and professional ethics.

Keynote speaker and founder of Words That Endure, Edna Groves, MS, opens the Conference with a program designed to provide attendees with a solid foundation for the presentations that follow. Electrolysis is an individualized career choice requiring highly personal interaction with each client. From Edna Groves, the attending electrologists gain an understanding of how their personal values invest their practices and client relationships.

In addition to improvement topics, the AEA Conference includes informational presentations on herbal therapy and acupuncture.

Rounding out the convention is an Exhibitors' Showcase where the latest in electrology equipment, supplies and related products will be displayed.
